Crime Scene Pictures commits to action thriller spec "Everly" from writer Yale Hannon:
A down-on-her-luck woman stuck in her apartment must fend off waves of Yakuza assassins sent by her ex, who is a dangerous mob boss.
The entire story will be shot in the woman's apartment meaning this is a contained thriller.

Hannon is repped by Anonymous Content.

By my count, this is the 36th spec script to sell in 2011.

The 36th spec didn't sell in 2010 until September 15th.

The spec market is now 4 months ahead of last year's sale pace.
