No script trading, please -- for the purposes of posting 10PTTs or otherwise.  That includes by PM.  This site's Terms of Service forbid it.

An exception is linking to or otherwise helping somebody get a screenplay already available to the general public.  For example, a studio 'for your consideration' script published on its website, or a produced-and-released script available from a popular screenplay site like MyPDFScripts.com.  Although, be aware most screenplay sites live in a legal gray zone by publishing material without explicit permission from the copyright holders.

If a screenplay is generally available on the web and has been for some time, with no indication the copyright owner wants it removed, you can probably safely use it for a 10PTT under the shield of Fair Use. You decide. Be sensible about it and you'll be fine.

Ignore this no-trade rule and the unhappy copyright owner can subpoena this forum to identify you and take you to court.  You don't want that.

If you're unsure about posted something, check with me first.

Also, don't ask me for a script unless you know it's already legally available.

Folks, no need to individually and personally sign off on this topic.  It's making me feel like a school headmaster at detention and you're all lined up and I'm thwacking each of you on the back of your hand with a metal ruler.

I don't want to punish you... unless... you... uh, want me to?

(oh god, I've only been watching ARCHER for one day, and look. ONE DAY.)

Shawnwrites lifts the plate lid ... revealing a fat, angry octopus, tentacles writhing.
